Please meet the photography ministry in the lobby between services on Sunday, August 23rd if you are celebrating retirement, job promotion, birthday, or wedding anniversary in the month of September.

The New Members Partner Ministry will meet on August 25^th at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Lewis Chapel family, if you still need to have your photo taken for the new church photo directory, Make-Up Picture Day is Monday, August 31^st. This is your final opportunity to be included in the photo directory. Only a limited number of appointments are available, and they will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please call the church office, scan the QR code on flyer or click the link in the weekly church announcement emails to schedule your appointment today before all the spots are filled!

Parents, registration is now open for the Premier Youth After-School Sports Development Academy located at the John D. Fuller Sr. Recreational/Athletic Complex. This fun and productive program is designed for youth ages 9-14 and includes school pickup, a daily snack, academic tutoring, and sports training each weekday after school, with the program ending at 6pm. Space is limited to just 40 participants, so be sure to register your child today. The cost is $130 per week, plus a $75 registration fee. If you have joined Lewis Chapel and have not attended New Members’ Orientation, please join the Zoom meeting on Saturday, August 29^th at 10a.m. Zoom information is available in the weekly announcement emails.

Street Ministry will minister in the community on Saturday, August 29th. Participants are asked to meet in Classroom # 2 at 10 a.m. New members are welcome to join us!

Join us as we celebrate Seasoned Saints on Senior Saints Sunday coming up on August 30^th. We hope to see you there.

A Ministry Fair will be held on Sunday, August 30th, immediately following the 11 A.M. Worship Service. Come discover the many ways you can get connected and serve at Lewis Chapel. 

All Lewis Chapel Church members are invited to help us plan a grand celebration for this year’s homecoming. Please meet us in the Fellowship Hall on Monday, August 31st at 6:30pm. We hope to make it even more spectacular than last year’s event and we can’t do this without your help.

If you are celebrating a birthday or wedding anniversary during the month of September and will not have your picture taken by the Photography Ministry Team, please submit a photo to contactus@lewischapel.org no later than Noon, Tuesday, September 1st.

All Church Offices will be closed September 4 – 7th, in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. No meetings or rehearsals will be scheduled during this time. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday!

We are looking for volunteer drivers to drive the minibus on Wednesdays and Sundays to pick up members who don’t have transportation. Please call the Church Office at (910) 424-2344 or email: contactus@lewischapel.org if you are interested in helping.

Drivers are needed for Lewis Chapel Street Ministry for one Saturday a month; you must have a valid license. Please contact the Church Office for all requirements needed for approval. Street Ministry welcomes you and looks forward to ministering with you.
